Gitonga Waigwa's Game Portfolio

Hello! My name is Gitonga Waigwa and I am a recent Northeastern graduate with a combined degree in Computer Science and Game Development! I'm a game designer and programmer whose interest lies in the intersection between philosophy and games, exploring moral dilemmas through choice-based media. 

I was a Northeastern University Honors Student on the Dean's List every semester. I won the Project-Based Exploration for the Advancement of Knowledge (PEAK) Award for undergraduate research in 2020 and the Meserve Award for Creative Excellence in 2023 for my capstone project.

Linked is an educational browser game for high-school and college students I solely programmed and co-developed with a cold war historian: Cold War Confidential: Briefing a US President. It was awarded the PEAK Award for undergraduate research.
